The corrugated cardboard sample was subjected to forces parallel to the grooves until it broke. The ECT value is expressed as the crushing force divided by the width of the sample.

PAT (Pin Adhesion Test)

Adhesion is the maximum force required to separate the top paper from the core paper with the help of a special sample holder.

It comes standard with 1 A flute, 1 B flute, and 2 C flute. Other specifications and E flute can be customized.

FCT (Flat Crush Test)

Apply increasing force perpendicular to the cardboard surface to the corrugated cardboard sample until the grooves are crushed. FCT values are expressed as force divided by the surface area of the sample.

The flat pressure sampler has two specifications for sampling, namely 64.5 cm² (10 in²) and 100 cm² (15.5 in²)

CMT(Corrugating Medium Test)

The samples are corrugated between heated corrugating rollers. The grooves are secured and held together with pressure-sensitive tape, mimicking single-sided corrugated cardboard. A compressive force is applied perpendicular to the plane of the paper and the breaking force is measured. The CMT value is the maximum force a sample can withstand before rupturing.

The instrument comes with the rack and comb required for making CMT samples.

CCT (Corrugated Crush Test)

The samples are corrugated between heated corrugating rollers. The sample is fixed in a special fixture suitable for the corrugated shape. The crushing force is applied and measured parallel to the top of the corrugated core. The CCT value is the maximum force a sample can withstand before it breaks.
