IMT-PM300 series high-concentration experimental disc mill is an ideal special equipment for pulping experimental research. Disk mill pulping is a relatively advanced pulping method commonly used in the world.
The high-consistency experimental disc refiner is an upgraded and optimized version of the traditional high- and low-consistency refiner. It is the most basic pulping equipment used in the testing and research fields of the pulp and paper industry.
It can convert wood chips, bamboo, and straw. To make slurry, chemical pulp, chemical mechanical pulp, mechanical pulp, waste paper pulp and other materials can also be deeply refined to change the surface properties of the fiber.

● It can be pulped not only at a low concentration of 3%, but also at a high concentration of 30%.
● The adjustment mechanism for dynamically determining the parallelism of the two grinding discs is simple, flexible and reliable.
● The spiral feeding is uniform and continuous, the amount of material can be adjusted at any time, and the speed of the feeding spiral can be adjusted intuitively.
● The shell end cover is open, so it is easy to replace the grinding disc and clean the grinding chamber.
● The center of the mill and both sides of the slurry discharge port are equipped with dilution water nozzles, which can adjust the refining concentration and improve fluidity. Water spraying on both sides can also avoid slurry clogging.
● There is a water cooling measure at the grinding disc end of the spindle to reduce the heat transferred to the bearing during refining and ensure the stability of the refining quality.
● The base is equipped with a circulating cooling water tank to take away the heat transmitted from the grinding chamber and the spindle bearing during refining.
● The control panel and all valves can be operated at one location, which is convenient and fast.
Parts introduction
This equipment consists of the following units:
1. Refining unit
The grinding chamber is the core part of the disc mill. The slurry is dissociated and knocked through the grinding chamber. The grinding chamber consists of a fixed shell, a movable grinding chamber, a movable grinding disc, a fixed grinding disc and a parallelism adjustment mechanism. The slurry enters from the material inlet and is transported to the center of the grinding chamber for refining, and is discharged from the discharge port of the movable grinding chamber.
2. Dilution water unit
The heat generated during the refining process of the slurry causes the slurry to lose part of its water, affecting the discharge of the slurry. Therefore, there are three stirring blades on the outer edge of the moving plate, and the slurry is thrown to the slurry discharge port through the action of the stirring blades. In order to prevent the slurry from clogging at the slurry discharge port, dilution water is set up in the grinding chamber so that the slurry can be smoothly discharged out of the machine to ensure continuous discharge of the slurry. The amount of dilution water increases as the refining concentration increases, and can be adjusted to the required amount through the regulating valve.
3. Spiral feeding unit
The raw material supply adopts the spiral feeding method, and reduces the pulse of the raw material input amount in a way that the input amount per revolution is small and the number of revolutions is high, ensuring the uniformity of the feed. In order to meet the needs of pulping a variety of raw materials, the screw rotation speed can be adjusted in the range of 20 - 300 r/min.
4. Lubrication unit
The main machine runs at high speed and has a heavy load, and the bearings are prone to heat due to the transfer of refining heat. In order to reduce the rolling friction of the bearing, ensure the lubrication performance, extend the service life, improve the cooling effect, the cushioning properties of the oil film and the convenience of maintenance, it was decided to adopt a fully synthetic engine oil immersion lubrication method with a viscosity of 20 or 30.
5. Cooling water unit
The heat generated during the refining process is easily conducted to the shaft, causing slight linear deformation of the shaft, thereby affecting the gap between the two discs and thus affecting the refining quality. To this end, this machine is equipped with cooling measures on the shaft and base to maintain the thermal stability of the entire machine, which ensures the stability of the gap and the stability of the refining quality.
6. Transmission unit
The main motor power of this machine is 30 kW, and the minimum power is 7.5 kW. The power consumption varies with different types of refining raw materials and different refining concentrations. The spindle rotation speed is 2950 r/min ± 50 r/min, and it is a heavy load. Due to the corresponding cooling and lubrication measures taken for the shaft and bearings, the stability of the entire machine operation is ensured.
