The internal adhesion tester is designed to determine the internal adhesion strength of various paper and cardboard materials according to GB 26203, ISO 16260 and TAPPI T 569.
The sandwich structure consists of an L-shaped anvil, double-sided tape, a paper sample, double-sided tape and an anvil base, and by releasing the pendulum to hit the L-shaped anvil, the impact force separates the internal fibers of the sample along the Z-shape, and the total energy required to separate the two layers is measured.
